If pedicle is slightly larger than needed, just sand down to desired diameter. Be sure to measure inside spread and tip-to-tip before cutting off the antlers. This will ensure the antlers are mounted the same as when harvested.

These pedical style skulls are intended for use with sheds or cut off antlers. You can achieve the same width and angle by taking measurements or using a "Z" pattern tape method. We have an instructional video on our method of attachment available upon request.
