Product information

This product can help taxidermist's get sheds in the perfect position to mount onto a manikin. It can help customers make their antlers detachable. Also it is a good reference of the different ages and sizes of pedicles pertaining to antler growth.

Mounting Instruction

This product can be used in several ways.

To make a detachable antler use a steel sleeve and epoxy into the skull cap at the desired position. The steel square stock should be inserted into the antler.

For permanent attachment we recommend drilling a hole slightly larger than your zinc 3" Lag screw into the center of the skull cap. Pre-drill and tighten the lag screw into the antler 1 1/2" deep. Then cut the bolt head off of the other side. You can use a deep well socket to bend the zinc lag screw to desired angle. Once the correct angles have been achieved, use a 2 part epoxy, apoxie sculpt, or other adhesive to set the bolt into the skull cap.
