The most realistic replica skulls on the market! A passion turned reality. In 2016 I had a chance to skull mount a family member's buck. I didn't know what I was doing, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it for him. Shortly after, I began doing more skull mounts for friends and family. After getting requests to add plaques to a few mounts I realized that woodworking also peaked my interest. For years in the early stages of my taxidermy career I consumed all the information I could on how to produce top quality skulls, and also began to learn woodworking. It all started in a garage with very little space. My in-laws were nice enough to deed us 2 acres on the corner of their 10 acre property to allow us to build! However we didn't go the traditional route of building a house, we built a shop and decided to make half of it a home. We lived in an essentially single bedroom apartment for 3 years while I built my business with more room to do so. Well with a baby boy on the way we knew we were going to need more space. So we began building our house right next to the shop. After getting settled into the house in December of 2022, I knew that now I had more room in the shop to grow. I was starting to establish a reputable name for myself with my taxidermy and plaque business TDT Mounts. in 2024, a few months before the opportunity arose to purchase the replica skull business, we felt a conviction that it was time for my wife to quit her job as an LPN nurse so that she could help within the family business. I felt that with her ability to help in the shop we could take on anything! We took a leap of faith and bought the replica skull business that was built by Marshell Pinchback. Rewind to 2022, Marshell had a stroke, and unfortunately fell into bad health forcing him to sell the business. The new owners had it a little over a year, and decided to sell it. Luckily a good friend, Dave Bolin thought we would be a good fit. After he let us know that it was for sale, we wasted no time! By the grace of god Marshell has recovered, and with his help we have revitalized the highest quality replica skulls on the market.
